Shanghai Open Steel Structure Co., Ltd, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Pudong New District, Shanghai, with a registered capital of RMB 111.67 million, integrates R&D, design, manufacturing and installation, and is a well-known steel structure and prefabricated assembly building engineering enterprise in China. Characterised by structural innovation, it is committed to providing customers with more cost-effective building structure solutions.Open has the first-class qualification of steel structure, the special qualification of architectural metal roofing (wall) design and construction, the special qualification of steel structure design, the second-class qualification of decoration engineering, the third-class qualification of electromechanical engineering construction, the FM certification of metal roofing, and the certification of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management system.It is a national high-tech enterprise, Shanghai "Specialized and Special new" Enterprise, member unit of China Steel Structure Association, director unit of Shanghai Metal Industry Association, member unit of Shanghai Construction Association, and one of the first batch of selected Shanghai assembly building industry base. Open Design R&D Centre has a high-level design team with a number of returnees from internationally renowned universities, who have obtained certificates including First Class Registered Architect, First Class Registered Structural Engineer, First Class Registered Constructor, U.S. Structural Engineer (SE) License and U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) License. We provide competitive structural design and optimization solutions in the project bidding stage, and quality construction drawings in the project implementation stage, providing comprehensive design services to our clients.Since its foundation, Open has continuously invested its strength in innovation and research and development. Open has edited "Prefabricated Lightweight Steel Building System Application Manual", which is a summary of technical information for many years and a bestseller in the industry; it has edited and participated in the editing of a number of CECS technical regulations, such as "Technical specification for steel structures with corrugated webs", "Technical specification for application of sinusoidal web steel structures", "Technical specification for building with floor-by-floor assembled steel braced frames ", and so on. Open has obtained nearly 200 patents, including more than 70 invention patents, 16 of which have been authorized. The self-developed "Steel-concrete composite frames using corrugated steel plates" (CS-Frames Structural System) won the first prize of Shanghai Industry-University-Research Co-operation Project in 2020. We work closely with Tongji University, Zhejiang University, Jiangnan University and other universities to establish a joint laboratory to develop and test new products.
