Large-span portal frame systems feature highly flexible interior space layouts, with typical spans between 20-30m, and column spacing between 6-12m. For buildings with special requirements, spans can reach up to 80m, and column spacing up to 24m. The foot of the building column can be hinged or rigid. Roof slopes range from 1:1 to 1:50, allowing for the most rational choice based on process and architectural needs.
